How the System Works

Tank Contamination

Tank Entry Maintenence

Tank Entry Maintenance

Good tank entry maintenance is always important, but with ethanol it is absolutely imperative.

• Quality caps in good working order must be in use at all entry points. If you can spin the cap, it needs to be replaced.

• Probe caps must have fresh grommet around wire.

• Spill bucket should be emptied of water after every rain.

• Spill bucket dirt and debris should be scooped out as it accumulates.

• This dirt takes up the space meant for water.

Neglecting these issues will invite water and phase separation. Phase separation is expensive business and it can be prevented.

Atlantic Clean Fuel will change caps and furnish spare caps for a modest fee.
